About this cartoon: In keeping with his trend of terrible nominees, Donald Trump selected Betsy Devos as Secretary of Education despite her having never attended a public school, had her children attend a public school, taught or had anything to do with education other than pushing for vouchers for private and Christian schools. Oh, and donating millions in campaign contributions, particularly to Republican members of the U.S. Senate, a tactic that paid off in her confirmation with no votes to spare and a first-ever tie-breaking vote by Vice President Pence.
